About us
Who are we?
Founded in 1994, Eurovent Market Intelligence (EMI) is the leading statistics office of the HVACR market in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Organising annual and quarterly data collections, we bring together over 200 single manufacturers and 400 participants in the statistics collections and provide them with the aggregated market results on over 18 products.
The single sales data collected from the participants remain confidential and the overall results can be received by participants only. We provide manufacturers with annual and quarterly collection results, total market estimations, market trends and analyses. The participants can also view their own market share and ranking in the collection and see the top 5 player of the collection in an alphabetical order.
While collection results are strictly reserved for participants of the corresponding collections (manufacturers), EMI reports based on the total market estimations are available for sale also to non-manufacturers.
History
In 1994, EMI has started its activities as an initiative of Eurovent, by launching its first data collections on Chillers and Fan Coil Units, to provide reliable market information to the concerned manufacturers. In 1999, EMI has expanded its activity and launched the first quarterly data collections.
Finally in 2007, the Eurovent Market Intelligence department was officially created within the Eurovent Certification Company. The developments followed very quickly after the official foundation of EMI department: the website and the online database were created shortly after in 2008 and 2009, respectively. In 2010, EMI started to provide additional information to the collection results, such as total market estimations and forecasts; and TOP5 in 2012.
In 2013, following the merge of Eurovent Certification and Certita, Eurovent Market Intelligence was separated from Eurovent Certification Company and moved within the Eurovent Services Company. Consequently, it became an independent entity within the Eurovent family.
Since then, EMI continues to function independently and to develop its activities. Today, it covers more than 18 product groups of the HVACR market in its statistics collections, over 50 countries in EMEA, with more than 400 participants every year.
